KMFDM are back on form and after a couple of lackluster line-ups and performances over the years it's good to see that the vitriol has returned. Smashing straight in with a devastating rendition of 'Hau Ruck', Sascha Konietzko and his cohorts set the tone for a blistering night of hard guitar industrial power. Along with Sascha, the front of the stage is also taken over by his partner in electronics and vocals Lucia Cifarelli and together they command that we watch as well as listen. Much like Ministry, KMFDM are a damn fine punk band, and for all the machine noises, songs like 'New American Century' owe as much to the Dead Kennedys as they do to DAF. A glorious return.
