Hau Ruck Review
Rock Sound Magazine

Maintaining a reasonably healthy work ethic of late, Kapt'n K's krew have been knocking out albums, live albums, DVDs and reissues like there's no tomorrow. And while it seems like only yesterday 'WWIII' hit us square around the chops, we're almost two years down the line. Despite KMFDM sounding somewhat weary back then, 'Hau Rock' finds them on coruscating form. From the Teutonic pounding of the title track to the relentless blitzkrieg of 'Free Your Hate' and the audacious near-EBM of 'Professional Killer', Germany's forgotten sons have a stunning technical arsenal up their sleeves. Sascha K has really gone to town utilising every bit of techno savvy he's picked up over the last feck knows how long, stamping his aural authority over every single damn riff. 'Hau Ruck'? How rock? more like, and the answer's a resounding "very".
