Most guitars are recorded direct into Protools, usually running through Ampfarm, and then, after editing, they're ran back out as dry signal through the reamp boxes to one or two of the 4 guitar amp set ups. This enables us to have control of a mic'ed cab after getting the playing of the parts right.
